44th Annual Norwegian Heritage Festival
The 44th Norwegian Heritage Festival will be taking place throughout the Anderson University Center (AUC) on the PLU campus. In Chris Knutzen hall, music and dance groups will perform while you eat food from Norway: rømmegrøt, Norwegian pastries and cookies, sandwiches, and Norwegian pea soup. In the outer halls, vendors will be selling handcrafted items and Norwegian-Americana. Downstairs in the Scandinavian Cultural Center there will be children's activities and Vikings. The event is hosted by the Daughters of Norway, Embla Lodge #2 of Tacoma, with support from the Sons of Norway in Tacoma and the Scandinavian Cultural Center.
