Advocating DJS, Engaging Active Leaders

For our first DJS Coalition Series event we are inviting PLU Alum to share their stories of student activism.  Come to network with other current students committed to DJS and hear from recent alumni those who strategically build collectives and worked to shift our systems and culture at PLU.

So we can connect with our incredible alums, this event will be held on Zoom.

This event is hosted by The Diversity Center, Center for Gender Equity, Campus Ministry, International Student Services and in coordination with PLU Homecoming.

About the DJS Coalition Series:

PLU’s value of Diversity-Justice-Sustainability recognizes there is an interdependency with ourselves, others, and our environments and thus a desire to create systems and build relationships where all can thrive.

With the above in mind, the DJS Coalition Series invites students to join and actively contribute to the critical conversations we are working through as a PLU community.  In these monthly conversations, participants will engage in critical reflection and perspective taking as we collaborate together to move our big question towards action as a community of care.

The DJS Series is hosted by the Centers and funded through the DJS Fee
