Many Black or African American women experience stress, difficulty fitting in and coping while attending predominately white colleges or universties. A PLU DNP graduate pursuing board cerification, Barbara Wright, DNP, MA, RN, in collaboration with Wellness Services and Resources, created this support group for black women as a place to learn from one another and establish new coping strategies in community.
