The Chemistry Department is pleased to welcome Calvin Rhodes, Mechanical Engineer and Project Manager at Aquagga - a clean water tech startup with a mission to end PFAS or "Forever Chemicals." Calvin studied Mechanical Engineering at Tacoma Community College and WSU Bremerton and currently works in the design of Aquagga's PFAS destruction units and manages on-site PFAS destruction demonstrations.

His seminar - "Engineering Solutions for PFAS Remediation" - will give insight into the lifecycle of PFAS and how Aquagga solves this urgent issue. Look forward to learning about the intricacies of control systems, pressure vessel design, and the challenges of project management in the field.
