We're pleased to welcome Andrew Grimberg, '98 back to campus to deliver November's Computer Science Tech Talk: "Development Best Practices: An overview of working in the software world." This lecture will provide a high level overview of best practices taken from working with open source projects to level up your code submissions and working with other developers. Andrew Grimberg is the manager of the Release Engineering team at The Linux Foundation where he has been working as an engineer for 13+ years. His career spans working as a developer and systems administrator for startups, private companies, government, and for the last 13+ years open source projects. His team of engineers support very small projects through some of the largest communities touching networking, edge computing, and AI among many others. The lecture is geared towards Computer Science majors, but all are welcome to attend.
