Please join the PLU School of Nursing and Department of Religion on Thursday, June 11th from 7:00 - 8:00 PM for an engaging exploration of religion and its role as a social determinant of health.  The presentation seeks to shift the view of religion from an individual preference to a Social Determinant of Health (SDOH), arguing that faith is a structural force that can shape a person's experience through institutional influence, community norms, and environmental exposures.   The presentation will be held in the School of Nursing Clinical Learning and Simulation Center on Garfield Street in room 200 and all PLU community members are invited, so please consider attending.  One credit hour of continuing education will be available for the event and refreshments will be provided.  For questions, please contact Heather Graves at heather.graves@plu.edu
