2026 EARTH & DIVERSITY WEEK

For over 100 years, PLU students, faculty, and community members have invested significant energy collecting, preparing, and preserving a specimen-based record of biodiversity in the Tacoma/Parkland area.The Ostenson Museum houses thousands of such specimens including insects, fishes, birds,  mammals, and more. The Museum Open House provides an opportunity for community members to get a peek at our holdings and learn a bit about the stories, connections, and relationships behind them.
