FROM PLU to Public Health - Amy Spieker, PLU Alumna '09

Amy Spieker is the Director of Community Health and Analysis at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center's Institute for Population Health in Cheyenne, Wyoming.  In this role, Amy works to build partnerships between the hospital and the community to address the underlying conditions that impact health. Previously Amy worked as a Maternal and Child Health Epidemiologist for the Wyoming Department of Health. She was responsible for managing data collection, analysis and dissemination of Maternal and Child Health information to support the work of state and local programs.  Amy is a 2009 Pacific Lutheran University graduate with degrees in Economics and Political Science.   She received her Master's in Public Health from the University of Washington in 2012 and is currently completing her dissertation to earn her Docorate in Public Health in Leadership from the University of Illinois Chicago.
