Mole Day Eve Celebration

Join the Chemistry Department and Chem Club for our annual Mole Day Eve Celebration.

Um, what's a mole?

Celebrated annually on October 23 from 6:02 a.m. to 6:02 p.m., Mole Day commemorates Avogadro's Number (6.02 x 1023), which is a basic measuring unit in chemistry. We celebrate the night before, thus: Mole Day Eve!

Prepare to be dazzled by chemistry demonstrations, amazed by experiments, and delighted by the Periodic Table of Brownies! Food begins at 6:30pm in the 1st floor Rieke lobby. Science excitement takes place at 7:00pm in the Rieke 2nd floor open lab.

Free and open to all (even non-chemists)!
