Pippin Auditions

The Pippin auditions will consist of a group dance call, and a solo singing call.

DANCE AUDITION: Come to the Columbia Center (2nd floor dance studio) in dance clothing/clothing in which you can dance/move freely. For footwear, socks or jazz shoes or dance sneakers are all fine. If possible, please warm your body up before your time slot. There are 2 time slots to choose from: 7:15-8pm and 8-8:45pm.

SINGING AUDITION: Come to the Karen Hille Phillips Studio Theatre with 32 bars (chorus and verse) of an up-tempo Broadway showtune. Come with your sheet music clearly marked for the accompanist.

All rehearsals are on Eastvold Stage and will begin Sunday, February 6 and are Sunday-Thursday evenings, 6:30-9:30pm until March 16 (not including additional tech times). This production will run for four performances (March 13-17). Callbacks will be held November 23 and casting will be announced by November 24.

A copy of the script/score is available to you on the Theatre and Dance Sakai page, in the Resources folder, under Spotlight Scripts. Students are allowed to both rehearse and perform this production unmasked as fits their comfort level.

Note: this production contains stylized violence and sexual acts. In some circumstances, these actions may not be able to be changed. Please direct any questions you may have concerning this to the director, Jeff Clapp. If there are specific roles you do not wish to play because of this, please indicate it when you sign up.
