Join members of the PLU Physics Department, Dr. Sean O'Neill and Dr. Katie Hay, and the Tacoma Astronomical Society (TAS) to take a tour of the observatory, learn about the stars, and look through telescopes (if there are clear skies)! If there's a crowd, we'll be letting 12 people into the observatory every ten minutes. While you wait to get into the observatory, look through the incredible telescopes The Tacoma Astronomical Society has set up outside! Dress warmly. Follow the red lights to the dome. This event is free and open to the public. Parking on the street and the surrounding lots is also free.
