Sister to Sister: The African American Womxn Experience Retreat

The planning committee made up of African American womxn identifying students look forward to providing a course tailored to the experiences of African American womxn in higher education, and specifically at Pacific Lutheran University. The objective of the Sister to Sister: African American Womxn Experience course is to provide Black and African American, female-identifying students with a support system while obtaining the tools necessary to learn how to support and understand each other and navigate a world filled with struggles, challenges, and oppression for our community. This course will help each student understand how internal and external growth takes place in spite of difficult situations.
