Sounds of Solidarity
We live in a time where voices are repressed, ignored, and erased. There is a constant pressure to silence the voices of those with intersecting and oppressed identities. In an effort to create a space where voices can be heard, we invite you to join your peers to listen and participate in Sounds of Solidarity. Each year we focus is on uplifting intersectionality* and the way that our identities have shaped the way we have grown in a unique understanding of ourselves.
This year, we will be hosting a workshop focusing on the process of expressing happiness, grief, pride, and a multitude of other emotions through creativity and reflection.
Join us in crafting your unique voice in a community environment. Through creative prompts and group sharing, each participant will have the opportunity to express creativity through a short piece.

I really enjoyed having the chance to reflect and listen to others even with the changes to its typical event. The ability to take a moment is something I feel my daily interactions lack because of the physical distancing that has also affected social interactions and was very eye-opening to my own needs.
