“Talk Story” comes from a common phrase used in Hawai’i that  invites one to sit down, visit, and share what's going on.  The hope for this monthly program is to build in time to our busy schedules to intentionally talk about DJS issues together as a community.  

As a true partnership, Talk Story will engage the intersection of the leadership learning attributes of Athletics (LUTES Lead) and the Center for DJS (DJS Coalition) and how these values can guide our community towards meaningful conversations about DJS topics.  Community members who participate in Talk Story will:

• Connect with new PLU community members who are also interested in DJS Leadership learning 

• Practice dialoguing (listening & sharing) across difference

• Reflect on how the topics discussed intersects with DJS leadership learning
