Harstad Hall
Harstad Hall is the most historic building on campus, named after Bjug Harstad, PLU’s founder and first president. Harstad Hall housed the entire university from 1894 to 1912. Today, this single gender community is home to the Women’s Empowerment and Gender Equity Residential Learning Community (RLC), promoting this theme through programming, activism, education, leadership opportunities, and reflection.
